Community Involvement

Consumer & Community Involvement Program

MCHRI’s Consumer and Community Involvement approach is person and community centred.

All of our work is co-produced or developed together with our diverse community. We establish important questions to guide our activities and partner throughout our work so the outcomes are translated into changes in health care and policy. This aims to optimise impact, with community needs and priorities guiding our efforts.

The following MCHRI projects are recruiting participants:

Supporting women maintaining their heart health during and after pregnancy

Are you in your first trimester of pregnancy?

We are developing an online screening tool, or survey, to help identify women who may be at risk of diabetes or high blood pressure during pregnancy. We hope that the online tool will help women to get advice and support early in their pregnancy. We are asking women to help design a screening tool that is clear and useful.

Women in their first or second trimester of pregnancy are invited to participate.

Taking part in this study will involve a one-on-one interview for about 45 –60 minutes. Your participation will be confidential. Participants will receive a $40 voucher in appreciation of their time.
